Yoake

Terms of Use

The 14-day trial, purchases, the limits of the mechanism, and the EULA

Last updated: September 5, 2026

1. The service

Yoake locks the apps you choose when you tap Good Night at night, and opens them again once you get up and walk in the morning. How well you keep your bedtime and wake-up goals decides today’s time for those apps, and any time you don’t use becomes saved time for later days. Locking and opening apps uses Screen Time (Family Controls) on iOS.

2. Free trial and purchases

3. Limits of the mechanism (important)

4. Health

Yoake doesn’t provide medical advice or treatment for sleep. Set bedtime and wake-up goals that suit your own health. If your sleep window drops below 6 hours, Settings shows it in red but doesn’t stop you. If you have health concerns, talk to a doctor.

5. Things you must not do

6. Disclaimer

Yoake is provided as is. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the developer isn’t liable for damage caused by a wrong check, apps that weren’t closed, apps that were closed, or outages of iOS or the App Store. Where the developer is liable, liability is capped at the amount you paid for Yoake in the last 12 months.

7. Changes and discontinuation

The developer may change features or discontinue the service after giving notice. If the service is discontinued, you’ll get at least 30 days’ notice. Your records live on your device and in your iCloud, so they stay with you afterward.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the court with jurisdiction over the developer’s place of residence is the exclusive court of first instance. This doesn’t take away any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country you live in.

9. End User License Agreement (EULA)

The app itself is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

These terms apply in addition to it. If the two conflict, the standard EULA governs your relationship with Apple, and these terms govern your relationship with the developer.
