Yoake (“the app”) is made by Koki Tanisaka, an individual developer in Japan (“the developer”). The app locks the apps you choose when you tap Good Night at night and opens them once you get up and walk in the morning, turning the goals you keep into today’s time and saved time. This policy explains which data that takes, where it lives, and where it goes.
The short version. The app has no developer server and no account. Everything it handles stays on your device and in your own iCloud. The only thing the developer ever receives is what you send by email. There’s no ad tracking and no analytics SDK.

There’s no account. The app doesn’t collect your name, email address, or location.
2. iPhone permissions

3. iCloud backup
- Your log, saved time, and bedtime and wake-up goals are backed up automatically to the iOS key-value store (iCloud). On a device not signed in to iCloud, nothing happens
- The backup lives in your Apple Account’s iCloud space. The developer can’t read it or delete it. Apple’s privacy policy applies
- When you get a new iPhone or reinstall, you can merge the backup on any device signed in with the same Apple Account
- Deleting the app may leave the iCloud backup in place. To remove it, use Delete iCloud Backup under About in Settings before deleting the app
4. What leaves your device
The app never talks to a developer server. The only things that leave your device are exchanged between iOS and Apple’s services.

Tapping Send Feedback opens your email app. The developer uses your email address and message only to reply, and for nothing else.
5. Sharing with third parties
The app doesn’t sell your data or share it with third parties. It contains no ad, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only exception is a disclosure required by law.
6. Children
The app isn’t intended for children under 13. Because it uses individual Screen Time authorization, it may not work on a child account managed by a parent through Family Sharing.
7. Deleting your data
- Everything on your device is deleted when you delete the app
- The iCloud backup can be deleted with Delete iCloud Backup under About in Settings (3)
- To delete anything you sent by email, contact the address below
8. Changes
When this policy changes, this page is updated. Significant changes, such as handling new kinds of data, are also announced in the app.
